This Yin Yoga practice explores the Fire Element through warmth, connection, and inner clarity. Rather than intensity, Fire is approached as presence: a gentle opening into the heart space through long-held, supported postures.
The focus is on the chest, shoulders, and arms, stimulating the Heart and Small Intestine meridians. You are guided to move slowly, use props intelligently, and listen closely to your body, allowing sensation and awareness to unfold without force.
Subtle threads of Taoist philosophy are woven throughout, inviting you to experience joy as a quiet state of alignment rather than stimulation. You may leave feeling more grounded, open, and connected to your inner landscape.
In this practice you will explore:
• Long-held, supported postures targeting the chest, shoulders, and arms
• The Heart and Small Intestine meridians through the lens of the Fire Element
• Sensation and awareness as a practice of inner listening
• Taoist philosophy woven lightly into the experience
For who:
• Anyone drawn to slow, deep, and contemplative practice
• Those looking to open the heart space and develop inner clarity
• Open to all levels, including teachers and experienced practitioners
