MoveFest is organised by Studio Tribes (Tribes Dance & Yoga). By purchasing a pass, booking a session, or attending MoveFest (including PreFest, the festival weekend, PostFest, and Opening Night), you agree to the terms below.

Passes & Bookings

1. MoveFest passes are available as One-Class, One-Day (Saturday or Sunday), and Two-Day passes, in standard and VIP variants where offered.

2. A pass grants access to the festival for the period it covers, but does not automatically reserve a spot in a session. Sessions must be booked separately (see "Booking Your Sessions" below).

3. Passes are personal and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing with the MoveFest team.

4. Passes are non-refundable except as set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy below.

5. Tickets may be purchased in advance online or, subject to availability, at the entrance on the day. We strongly recommend booking in advance, as sessions and passes may sell out.

Booking Your Sessions

1. Purchasing a pass and booking your sessions are two separate steps. After buying your pass, you must reserve your spot in each session you wish to attend via your account on movefest.nl.

2. By booking a session, you reserve your mat or place in that room. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. You may change your session bookings at any time up to the day of the festival, from your account under "My Bookings," subject to availability.

4. If a session is fully booked, you are welcome to choose another session or, on the day, ask our team at the door about availability.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

​

Client cancellation

1. Passes are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, please contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to find a suitable solution.

2. Where a refund is offered at our discretion, a processing fee of €7.50 may apply.

 

Cancellation or changes by MoveFest

3. MoveFest may occasionally need to cancel or change a session, a teacher, or a part of the programme (for example, due to circumstances beyond our control or a teacher being unable to attend). In such cases we will inform affected participants and offer a suitable alternative session, a credit, or a refund where appropriate.

4. Should the entire festival be cancelled by MoveFest, pass holders will be offered a refund or the option to transfer to a future edition.

PreFest & PostFest Immersives

1. PreFest and PostFest immersives (for example, workshops and multi-day trainings with guest teachers) are booked and paid for separately from festival passes.

2. You may cancel an immersive registration up to 14 days before its start date to receive a refund, minus a €7.50 processing fee. Cancellations within 14 days of the start date, or once the immersive has begun, are non-refundable, and MoveFest reserves the right to charge the full amount.

3. If an immersive is cancelled or a teacher is unable to attend, registrants will be offered an alternative, a credit, or a full refund.

4. To cancel, please email movefest@yourtribes.nl.

 

Opening Night

1. Opening Night is included free of charge for Two-Day Pass holders (a code is provided by email). Other guests may purchase a separate ticket, subject to availability.

2. Opening Night takes place at an external location. Please follow the venue's house rules and the directions of our team.

Changes to the Programme

MoveFest reserves the right to adjust the programme, including session times, room allocations, and teachers, for the comfort, safety, and smooth running of the festival. We will communicate significant changes via email or on our website where possible.

Use of the Venue

1. Please observe any guidelines communicated by MoveFest and the venue, and follow the reasonable directions of our team and volunteers to ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for everyone.

2. MoveFest reserves the right to refuse admission or ask a person to leave in the case of disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour.

3. Please arrive in good time for your session. Once a session has begun, latecomers may not be able to join, out of respect for the practice and the other participants.

4. You are responsible for your personal belongings at all times. MoveFest is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Photo & Video Policy

1. During MoveFest, photographs and video recordings are made by MoveFest, Studio Tribes, and photographers, videographers, and content creators working on our behalf.

2. These images and recordings may be used for promotional and communication purposes, including our website, social media, newsletters, and the promotion of future editions.

3. By entering the festival spaces, you are aware that filming and photography take place and that you may appear in these images or recordings.

4. If you prefer not to be filmed or photographed, please let a member of our team, or the photographer/videographer, know at the event, or email us in advance at movefest@yourtribes.nl, and we will do our best to respect your wishes.

5. If you appear in a published image and would like it removed, contact us at movefest@yourtribes.nl and we will remove it from our own channels as soon as reasonably possible. We cannot control content reshared by third parties.

6. Where minors are recognisably in view, we take extra care and will remove such images promptly on request from a parent or guardian.

7. We handle personal data, including images, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG/GDPR). See our Privacy Policy below.

Liability Waiver

1. By participating in any movement practice, class, immersive, or activity at MoveFest — including but not limited to yoga, dance, martial arts, acrobatics, breathwork, and somatic practices — you acknowledge the potential for physical injury. Your participation is voluntary and at your own risk, and you release MoveFest, Studio Tribes, the venue, and all teachers involved from any claims arising out of negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

2. It is your responsibility to assess your own physical and mental fitness before participating. If you experience dizziness, pain, or any discomfort, stop immediately and, if needed, seek medical advice.

3. Please inform the teacher of any injuries, limitations, or medical conditions before a session, and only participate in movements you can perform safely. Work within your own limits, warm up and cool down, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol, drugs, or heavy meals shortly before practising.

4. You are responsible for your own wellbeing during the festival. While we strive for accuracy on our website and materials, errors may occur, and MoveFest is not liable for mistakes or omissions.

Privacy Policy

At Studio Tribes / MoveFest, we are committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personal information.

• Information collected: We collect personal information such as name, email address, and phone number when you register or purchase a pass. We also use functional cookies to improve your experience.

• Purpose: This information is used to create and manage your account and bookings, and to communicate with you about the festival.

• Third parties: Your data is used by Studio Tribes / MoveFest and is not sold to third parties. Some data may be processed by service providers strictly to operate the event (for example, our booking platform).

• Your rights: You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. Contact movefest@yourtribes.nl for any request.

• Updates: Any changes to this policy will be communicated via email or a notice on our website.
