In this workshop, you'll learn authentic dancehall moves rooted in Jamaican tradition, guided by Marthe Vangeel, who brings firsthand knowledge from her regular training trips to Jamaica. More than just learning steps, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the history and cultural significance of dancehall, exploring its evolution and the impact it continues to have worldwide. Marthe Vangeel
Choreographer
Belgian-born Marthe Vangeel began her dance journey with jazz at six, later embracing hip hop and ultimately finding her true passion in dancehall. Inspired by Laure Courtellemont, she delved into ragga jam and dancehall, captivated by the expressive power and rich cultural heritage of the style. As member of the 'US' crew alongside A Ni Mal and Steddy, she has clinched multiple dancehall battle victories.
