Inversions and arm balances are often approached as destinations: shapes to achieve. In this practice, they become extensions of fluid movement. You will break down the foundations: hands, shoulders, core integration, and then weave them into dynamic transitions guided by breath.
The focus is on entering and exiting these shapes with more efficiency and less force. Strength becomes a conversation rather than a demand, and effort gradually eases into flow.
Expect playful exploration, progressive layering, and options for different levels: moving between grounding and rising throughout.
In this practice you will explore:
• Foundations of inversions and arm balances: hands, shoulders, core
• Breath as a guide for entering and exiting shapes
• Dynamic transitions between grounding and lifting
• Efficiency over force: strength in service of flow
For who:
• Yoga practitioners curious about inversions and arm balances
• Those wanting to develop more ease and control in challenging shapes
• Movers at any level willing to explore playfully and progressively
